Mostly contemporary artists.<p><strong>What completely relaxes him:<br></strong>A good <a href=/articles/2011/10/bath>bath</a>. And a <a href=/articles/2012/03/it-does-a-body-good>shoulder rub</a>.<p><strong>Books on his bedside table:<br></strong><em>Philistines at the Hedgerow</em> by Steven Gaines, re-reading Michael Cunningham’s <em>A Home at the End of the World</em>and <em>The Andy Warhol Diaries</em>.<p><strong>Where he feels most at home:<br></strong>I feel most at home — at home! Especially in my kitchen when I’m cooking.<p><strong>Best vacation he's ever taken:<br></strong>Mallorca with good friends.<p><strong>Biggest vice:<br></strong>Fresh sourdough boule with butter and Maldon sea salt. I can eat the entire thing. In minutes.<p><strong>Style icons:<br></strong>Cary Grant, Fred Astaire, Lapo Elkann and Ryan Gosling.<p><strong>Two things still on his bucket list:<br></strong>Going on a safari and having <a href=/articles/2012/06/a-plant-grows-in-brooklyn>my own garden</a>.<p><strong>Number one reason for taking care of his body:<br></strong>I feel better and have a bounce in my step. <div>Peter Som is a mainstay in the fashion industry, known for bold prints and elegant, offbeat designs that have graced the pages of <em>Vogue</em> and the bodies of movie stars since his eponymous line launched in 2001. The San Francisco native, who debuts his Spring 2013 collection at New York fashion week today, recently concluded a five season consulting role at Tommy Hilfiger, where he helped resurrect the women's runway collection. Which begs the question: What's next? As the fashion world wonders, Som, an Equinox devotee, now has plenty of time to hit up his favorite group fitness class.</div><strong><div><strong><br></strong></div>Typical workout:<br></strong>Violet Zaki’s Zen Combat class and training with Jaime Morales.<br><br><strong>What we'd be surprised to find in his fridge:<br></strong>Lots of Lacinato kale.<strong><br></strong><strong><br></strong><div><strong>Ultimate healthy meal:<br></strong>Café Cluny’s <a href=/articles/2011/12/beets>beet</a> salad and tuna burger without the bun.
