<div>Paul Wesley looks pretty good for playing 165 years old. Mostly because in reality (and human years), the "Vampire Diaries" star, who plays Stefan Salvatore on the hit drama, is 30, fit and very health conscious. Before tomorrow night's season finale, we caught up with Wesley to find out how he plans to stay in top form for his next 200 or so years.</div><div> </div>Typical workout: I basically try to lift some weights three times a week for about 30 minutes, and then run for about 20 minutes twice a week. Best insider tip he's ever gotten from a trainer or nutritionist: To eat protein every three hours. What we'd be surprised to find in his fridge: Unfortunately theres nothing in it so no room for surprises. I tend to eat at work since I film nonstop or I grab things on the go. Which isn't the greatest thing to do. Favorite healthy meal: Easiest and healthiest would be the Vega protein shakes. Ultimate decadent meal: The classic spaghetti dish at my favorite little secret restaurant in LA that shall remain nameless or it's not a secret anymore. Typical sleep schedule: Sleep in so important, and due to my schedule I literally feel like a vampire. I don't get enough of it. I aim for seven hours a night, and tend to function best at that minimum. Latest obsession: "Breaking Bad" What he's totally over: People who feel the need to tweet every three minutes. Best gift he's ever received: My wife made me a picture book of our travels during our road trip across the USA. What totally relaxes him: Meditation Books on his bedside table: The Sun Also Risesby Hemingway which I'm halfway through, and books on acting by Michael Chekhov (per the recommendation of my friend and fellow "Vampire Diaries" actor Matt Davis) which I havent started yet. Biggest vice: Chewing gum Style icon: Marlon Brando I suppose would be a good one. Three things still on his bucket list: Off the top of my head, a trip to Africa, helicopter snowboarding in Alaska, and meditation with Buddhist monks. Who has made him feel star struck or tongue-tied: I don't get star struck easily if ever, but when I was a kid I ran into Brett Hull who was my hockey idol and that left me in a frenzy. Number one reason for taking care of his body: Life longevity and the ability to enjoy daily activities without physical inhibitions. Oh, and also I'm an actor and have no choice in the matter. Message to the world with one request (only catch: It has to be 140 characters or less): Boy that's a big question. I recently read a great quote so I'll simply plagiarize it. "When you become aware of silence, immediately there is that state of inner still alertness. You are present. You have stepped out of thousands of years of collective human conditioning."
