Funny story about the origin of the <a href=http://theknocks.com target=_blank>The Knocks'</a> name: Electronic musicians Ben "B-Roc" Ruttner and James "JPatt" Patterson came up with the moniker as a way to refer to the early period in their career when neighbors would knock on the door for playing music too loudly. These days, no one is complaining about their beats. The New York City-based duo has a new studio album, 55, but they're also well-known for their remixes with with big stars, including Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and <a href=/articles/2011/12/ellie-goulding-playlist>Ellie Goulding</a>. Two of their latest remixes include a revamp of Justin Bieber’s “Company,” and a new version of their single “Classic,” which comes out today.
