Celebrate a successful day on the slopes in style.
A ski vacation is not just about gearing up for the mountains. Dressing the part après is also an important part of the equation. “After a full day of skiing there’s usually not a whole lot of time for a wardrobe change before heading out to the champagne bar. Selecting the right mix of pieces—both cozy and polished—is a great way to master any après look,” says New York City-based stylist Kristen Saladino. “I love a matching set, but sometimes you want to switch it up with luxe pieces that are a bit unexpected,” she adds. Think leather separates, knit dresses, and stylist-approved layering techniques.
Fendi heart-motif velvet bomber jacket
This cheeky heart-adorned velvet coat can double as a ski jacket, perfect for warmer days on the slopes. Its dark color and neutral detailing mean it works well with almost any bottoms or over a dress.
...& altuzarra button-side crewneck long-sleeve striped knit sweaterdress
“A midi-length style ensures leg coverage and will look stylish with your ski jacket,” says Saladino. Wear it with knee-high boots and a fur beret.
3 Moncler grenoble siusi
The ultimate blend of performance and style, this jacket was built with windproof wrist gaiters and detachable fur lining for ski days, plus a folk-inspired pattern, which is trending on the runways at designers like Loewe and Chloe.
...& Isabel Marant coy side-stripe leather track pants
“I go for lots of color on the slopes (it helps you keep track of your ski buddies, and vice versa), but sometimes it’s nice to combine an over-the-top piece with something neutral,” Saladino says. Slip into these soft leather track pants to stay cozy by the fire, but still look put-together. With so many bulky items to pack, you can even wear these as your travel pants to free up space.
Perfect moment chatel hooded quilted-down ski jacket
This slim-fit jacket has a lightweight down makeup and a detachable snow skirt to carry you comfortably through runs, but won’t weigh you down when headed out to toast a great day of skiing.
...& Rhude checked cotton drawstring shorts
“If you start with a thick thermal layer for warmth, there’s no shortage of what you can do to master the layering game,” Saladino notes. Top your pants with these checkered drawstring shorts for an unexpected twist.
Cordova the snowbird jacket
Build out your look by adding a print or colored bottom coupled with this high-shine cropped jacket, which will also accentuate your waist. A metallic spin on the traditional ski bomber makes it a great piece to transition from day to night.
...& prada technical fabric skirt
“Once you hop off the slopes, keep your base layer bottoms on and swap your bulky ski pants for a casual skirt,” Saladino suggests. Pair it with fur trimmed boots that will keep you looking cold-weather-appropriate.
