Why the beauty entrepreneur and mom of two always keeps bikes in the car
At 28, Swedish entrepreneur Isabella Löwengrip has already founded eight companies within the realms of lifestyle, technology, and finance, in addition to cultivating her popular brand Löwengrip Beauty. Her days are hectic—she spends much of her time traveling globally for work—and she’s a single mother of two children, Gillis, age five, and Sally, age four.
No matter her schedule, though, Löwengrip always builds in daily exercise. “My time in the morning is more important than any meeting in the world,” she says. “I like to lift heavy weights with my trainer; it’s the best way for me not to think about anything else, because I have to be so focused on the technique.”
In honor of Mother’s Day, Löwengrip shared some of her favorite kid-friendly products as well as her personal wellness essentials.
Get Raw Bars
“You have to always be ready with a snack in your bag. Get Raw bars are perfect for hungry kids and a hungry mom.”
iPad and headphones
“I try to limit my kids’ screen time as much as possible at home, and they love to read books together (our favorite bedtime routine). But, when we’re at restaurants and on car trips and flights, an iPad is the best savior for bored kids. Don't forget to put some movies on offline mode.”
Kickbike
“On the weekends, I make sure to have bikes with us so the kids can have fun while I get some exercise in.”
Gummy vitamins
“It is very important that my kids take their vitamins, just as I do. They have gummy bear vitamins that we take together at night before bedtime.”
Löwengrip Luminous Bronze Self-Tan Drops
“These drops make me look like I just got back from Saint-Tropez without actually having to leave my house (or kids). The concentrated formula makes it easy to control the color intensity and result.”
Casall Iconic 7/8 Tights
"Lately, I am living in these leggings, which are lightweight and feel good on my body.”
