Alexander 23

Singer-songwriter Alexander 23 (born Alexander Glantz) launched himself as an in-demand artist with his first single "Dirty AF1s." He recently landed a spot on the soundtrack for the third season of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why and is currently on a nationwide tour alongside Alec Benjamin. The artist, whose debut EP drops this fall, doesn't have a traditional workout plan. “I play basketball and choose walking over driving whenever I can,” he explains, before adding with a laugh, “I also have a high libido.” He curated a playlist that, in his words, "is all about balance and flow, with fast songs, slow songs, happy songs, sad songs, new songs, and old songs."

 Y2K

With over 200 million listens on Spotify to date, producer Y2K’s “Lalala,” featuring Canadian rapper bbno$, has found global fame.

The Arizona native, born Ari Starace, notes that an important part of his routine involves fresh air. “I stay fit and healthy by constantly finding time to go outside and not spending all day cooped up in the studio,” he told Furthermore. “I also eat a strict vegetarian diet, constantly check in on my posture, and practice Muay Thai with my roommate once a week.” This season, he'll be listening to iconic tracks from MGMT and Bruce Springsteen.

The artist known as daydream Masi is quickly achieving renown for his indie, ambient tracks. His song "Favorite Drug" is also featured on the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack alongside music from Charli XCX and Lauv. The singer-songwriter, who released the buzzy single "Nightlife" last spring, cites John Legend and MGMT as influences. His own playlist choices for fall include the late Mac Miller and rocker St. Vincent. “I usually make playlists of songs I wish I wrote or artists I find myself inspired by,” he explains.
