10 curated tracks from the rock band
With more than 12 million albums sold worldwide, recognizable rock hits like "Iris" and "Slide," and a career that's spanned more than 30 years, it would be easy for the Goo Goo Dolls to take a back seat in the industry. But instead, they're beginning a new chapter: On September 13, the band will release their 12th studio album, Miracle Pill. And, on the heels of a tour with Train, they'll begin a jaunt of their own through the U.S. in late October.
Such a schedule requires a certain amount of stamina and fitness. Goo Goo frontman Johnny Rzeznik stays in shape by exercising five days a week. “Every day there is an ab workout and stretching, then weight training in circuits. Everything incorporates the core with emphasis on working the posterior chain to keep me strong," he says. "Then I do some variation of HIIT training or a long, slow fat-burning cardio session.”
In celebration of Miracle Pill, Rzeznik put together an exclusive workout for Furthermore with artists like Queen, The Who, lovelytheband, and Sam Fender.
