This month, soak in the incredible energy of the New York City Marathon around the five boroughs. Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., gather at the supporter's lounge at Equinox East 92nd Street, which is a good midpoint to see runners on both First Avenue (between Miles 17 and 18) and Fifth Avenue (between Miles 23 and 25). Equinox Body Lab will offer pop-up treatments for marathoners at the Columbus Circle and Sports Club New York locations.

This month, the Shed offers two dynamic ways to experience Verdi’s Messa da Requiem, considered one of the great transcendent works of classical music: Listen to the 100-member orchestra and 80-member chorus musicAetern, led by conductor Teodor Currentzis, or watch a new film set to Verdi's score by late filmmaker Jonas Mekas.

This group exhibition is organized by The Shed’s first guest curator, art critic Nora N. Khan. Contemporary artists Lynn Hershman Leeson, Sondra Perry, Simon Fujiwara, Martine Syms, and Morehshin Allahyari explore and critique emerging technologies including DNA editing and AI.
