For Jeff Lee, the end-of-year holiday season was marked not just by quality time with family and friends, but also by an Equinox milestone: On December 25, he flew from Los Angeles to London to witness the opening of Bishopsgate.
Since becoming a member at West 92nd Street in New York City 10 years ago, he has made it his personal mission to visit every club, even if it means traveling across the continent or to another one.
“The first time I walked into an Equinox, it was like entering Shangri-La,” says Lee, 34, chief operating officer for A-ROD Corp. “I felt the world had just opened in front of my eyes. There was nothing like it and I didn’t want to leave.”
His passion has earned him his impressive status as the single Equinox member who has visited all 106 clubs, and counting. Furthermore caught up with Lee to talk about the root of his obsession, his favorite locations, and the coolest amenities he’s experienced.
