"This sauce is a perfect accompaniment to dumplings or spring rolls," says New York City–based recipe developer Beth Lipton. "Whisk in Sriracha instead of adding the crushed red pepper flakes if you prefer—or leave out both for a mild sauce."

In a small bowl, whisk together aminos, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Taste and season with up to ⅛ teaspoon salt. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Whisk in honey and/or red pepper flakes, if desired. Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to three days.
