The trio balances wellness with touring.
When the Los Angeles-based indie band Wallows (Braeden Lemasters, Cole Preston, and Dylan Minnette) are on tour, they don’t quite live up to the stereotype of debaucherous rockers. “That doesn’t mean we don’t have fun. But we have to make health a priority in order to pull off traveling and playing shows every night,” says the group.
After early viral success on Spotify, Wallows later signed with Atlantic Records and released their debut album Nothing Happens in 2019. Currently, the trio is on a nationwide tour with upcoming stops at Bonnaroo and the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama. “Staying healthy on tour is pretty simple: get sleep, don’t drink too much, lots of protein bars and water, and exercise where you can,” they explain.
Wallows compiled an indie-forward playlist for Furthermore featuring artists like 070 Shake and HMLTD.
