Meeting Jen Gotch, ban.do's founder, is a similar experience. The LA resident—and Florida native—is as warm, insightful, and endearingly self-deprecating in person as she is on her Instagram account (where she has 248,000 followers).
But in contrast, or perhaps because of the unending sunniness of ban.do, which she started in 2008, she's also ready to go deep. Any of her social media followers can attest to her openness about her bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression.
