Traditional saunas use heat to warm the air, while infrared saunas use infrared light (that’s the one between visible light and radio waves on the electromagnetic spectrum) to create heat in your body from the inside out.
HigherDOSE’s infrared blanket, now available at The Shop online, is a powerful way to level-up your regen, as the infrared heat will release and eliminate toxins. “The more you expose yourself to the healing power of infrared, the easier it becomes for your body to operate more efficiently and recover more rapidly,” says HigherDOSE’s co-founder Lauren Berlingeri. Her pro tip: Energize your lymphatic system by dry-brushing before using the blanket, then follow up with a two- to three-minute cold shower.

Preparing for a far-flung journey now, even if you don’t have it on the books, can help build excitement and trust that it will happen.
