SPIRALIZE MORE VEGGIES.
Think beyond zucchini the next time you’re looking for a carb-free noodle. Seasonal produce like celery root, carrots, beets, and rutabaga are all excellent candidates for spiralizing, according to Franklin Becker, founding partner of New York City restaurant The Little Beet and Hungryroot, a vegetable noodle company. Many of these ingredients can be served raw, so consider tossing them into a salad or coating them in a spicy peanut sauce for a lighter version of the takeout classic.

JOURNAL YOUR SLEEP.
If you use wearable tech, you’re likely tracking your sleep through the device. But don’t give it too much credit, says Matt Delaney, New York City-based national manager of innovation for Equinox. Though the trackers are reliable for knowing when you woke up or fell asleep, the tech isn’t generally advanced enough to monitor specifics like deep sleep, REM sleep, or light sleep, Delaney explains.
Instead of relying on tech, experts recommend keeping a sleep journal where you can write down the quality of your rest and include details of what bedtime worked best and whether or not foods or alcohol interrupted you at night.

PLAY OUTSIDE.
Safe and distanced outdoor play is one way Rene Wiley, a group fitness instructor at Equinox+ In the Wild Marina Del Rey, manages stress. “I recently rekindled an old hobby of mine which is skateboarding. I like to go to big vacant parking lots and just shred for an hour or so. I get to tap into a form of movement other than running, cycling, and lifting which I do a lot for work already. It also brings back great memories of my earlier years. I feel play keeps you youthful and happy.”
