RELOCATE YOUR HUMIDIFER.
Indoor heating and constant mask-wearing have caused a significant uptick in nasal congestion, according to New York City–based ENT specialist Stacey Silvers, M.D., FARS. “There are more nosebleeds because of the dry air and the mucus can become thick and crusted,” she says. Silvers recommends placing a humidifier as close to you as possible—in the bedroom, she says a nightstand is a better location than in the corner of the room. For congestion, she also suggests using a saline rinse daily. “It delivers moisture to the nose and flushes out mucus you’re not able to clear naturally.”

UPGRADE OVERNIGHT OATS.
“Oats are a powerful whole grain packed with fiber and the immune-boosting compound beta glucan,” says Lisa Hayim, R.D., a nutritionist based in New York City and founder of The Well Necessities. “They contain a special type of naturally occurring sugar that has been shown to lower cholesterol.” Put this together tonight and your Tuesday breakfast is good to go.
